I am excited to serve as a Philanthropy Engagement officer after spending 6 years as a campus missionary!  I work on an amazing team that gets to connect with our many benefactors and share with them the incredible fruits God has blessed our apostolate with thanks to their generosity.

Amidst the hecticness of “Welcome Week” at Oklahoma State University, I was invited by the FOCUS missionaries into their community.  Little did they know I was not practicing my Catholic faith and was longing for real friendship.  Their invitation began an incredible journey to a life of greatness and joy.  Through the missionaries and community at OSU, I came to know where their love came from, love itself in the person of Jesus Christ.  At that moment I knew I couldn’t turn back into my old way of life and desired to give myself entirely to Christ and His Church.

I joined FOCUS after graduating from OSU so that I could meet students who were just like me, in dire need of a relationship with God and others.  I served at the University of Louisiana – Lafayette for my first four years and then two years at Georgia Southern University.  Going into my seventh year, I am still blessed to be working in this organization with my wife, Katy Ann, and our kids, Rose and Joseph George!

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of people like you who get to join me in bringing Jesus Christ to college campuses.
