Where I serve

I serve as the Sr. Director of Mission Partner Development (MPD) where I lead a team responsible for onboarding, training, and supporting missionaries to invite mission partners like YOU to be a part of this mission so that together we can reach the lost for Jesus Christ!

My Story

I met Jesus in college at the University of Minnesota – Duluth. I was lost, far from God, and miserable…

Then everything changed. Someone cared enough to invite me to a FOCUS conference.

Leading up to the conference, I was praying in desperation with Jeremiah 29:13, “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”

I told Jesus, “If you are real, show me!” During the closing mass of the conference, I heard Jesus speak directly to my heart…

“Jonathon, if you really want to find me, become Catholic.”

After the conference, I turned away from the life I had been living and entered the Catholic Church. Since then I have committed my life to sharing the love and mercy of Jesus with as many people as I can.

Since joining FOCUS in 2012, I have served in many different roles:

Team Director at North Dakota State University (2014-2020)
Sr. Manager of MPD Field Staff (2020-2023)
Director of MPD (2024-2025)
Sr. Director of MPD (2025 – Present)

I hold a Master of Arts in Theology from the Augustine Institute and an MBA from the University of Mary.
