I have been called to serve at Western Washington University. I shall be sharing not only the gospel to students, but a sense of hope, joy and faith for their lives. You will typically find me hanging out at the university cafe, the churches near/on the campus, or walking around greeting people. Although I have my story below, sound effects and other experiences within the journey to encounter Jesus would be fun share. So come and find me so we can talk and possibly go on a hike sometime!

Jesus impacted my life through FOCUS by granting me the desire to join their bible studies. During the quarantine, I had zero interest in diving deeper into my faith, since at the time, I thought He was a demanding dictator. Because of this, I went down a path of depression and desired what this confusing world had to offer, but gained no hope. However, I remember my sister was a part of a bible study when she was at her university and saw she had a great college experience. So I thought maybe I could feel that too. In my last year of college, the quarantine was lifted and I could attend my classes in person again. That was when I recalled what my sister had found joy in, so I sought out a bible study. When I did, that was when I first met the FOCUS missionaries and we hit it off pretty well. I found that I could actually be myself with them for they saw who I was. With each bible study, missionary event, and with the opportunity of becoming a disciple, I began to see the heart of Jesus and cried tears of joy. It was then I understood He only wanted love. It was like a weight was lifted, revealing a sense of hope, trust and purpose in my life. Therefore I truly desire to share a similar experience with as many people as I can before my time is up.

When I decided to answer the call to FOCUS, I realized the kind of decision I was making. I am a Missionary to which I must rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. An emissary in need of emissaries who are truly blessed to come with me on this difficult journey as I serve on campuses.
