All my life I have been searching for an enduring, deep, and warm love that was just for me. Throughout my time in college at the University of Nebraska-Omaha and in seminary in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the Lord showed me just how ready He was to satisfy my longing to be loved and how much more He longed for my love.

During this time, I encountered the God of gentleness when I expected to meet the God of mere obligation. I heard the still, small voice of God when I expected to hear the voice of harsh rebuke, disappointment, and shame. I experienced the God of joy, forgiveness, warmth, and consolation when I expected the God of desolation and severity. God shattered my expectations.

College students around the world are thirsting for love. A false image of God prevents them from truly being happy. Yet, only when they meet the God of Love will they be fully satisfied. Will you join me so that, together with the Lord, we can satisfy God’s thirst for souls and the thirst of numerous souls for True Love? Let the expectation-shattering begin.

I am grateful for your openness to joining this particular mission! I am confident that only together does God desire to satisfy the longing of souls for Him. Whatever good we choose to do, let’s do it for Jesus.
