We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I currently serve as a first-year missionary at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Geaux Tigers!
Throughout my youth I went to Mass every Sunday and prayed together as a family, but I took my faith for granted until I went to college. As I began my time at the University of South Carolina, I didn’t know who I was or who I wanted to be. I wanted to fit in and quickly became wrapped up in the fraternity I joined and the newfound freedom I had. However, I quickly realized that I was unhappy. I didn’t know where to turn. By God’s grace, near the end of my freshman year I was approached on campus by a missionary who worked for FOCUS. I was invited to join a FOCUS Bible study and into friendships with men who were pursuing God and striving for virtue. This completely changed my life as I began to realize the life-giving love of Christ and I developed a desire to share it with others.
By accepting a missionary role with FOCUS I made the decision to rely completely on the generosity of the people of God. By supporting me, you have the opportunity to invest in the mission the Lord has sent me on and your impact will help me to bring more souls to Christ at LSU. Please pray for me!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
