Hi there, welcome! My name is Julia – I’m a manager on our FOCUS Greek Team, serving FOCUS Greek missionaries across the nation!

Where I serve

The past 5 years God called me to serve the college students at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, NE! Words will never contain the greatness of mercy and resurrection I encountered in souls during my time on campus. While there I walked primarily with the women in Greek life and saw immense growth. We went from having 3 consistent Bible Studies in sorority houses my first two years there to having a Bible Study offered in every sorority as I was finishing up my 5th year! This helped us to reach and accompany sorority women in ways that we never had before at UNL. I am confident that my time at UNL will launch me into walking with our FOCUS Greek missionaries on campuses across the country so that they too can reach more students in Greek life 🙂

My Story

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all souls to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel.

I have been blessed to grow-up in a Catholic home and was able to attend Catholic school up until I attended Kansas State University. With that being said, it wasn’t until my years in college that I came to realize that relationship with Jesus is overfilled with mercy, freedom, beauty, and the joy of a intimacy with Him. It was in encountering deep friendships with our missionaries that I began to walk away from a life of people pleasing and being swept up by the culture of society, to then allow my heart to truly be pursued and won over by Jesus- Praise the Lamb!

In friendship with our missionaries, I was able to experience sacrificial love and witness the lives of people who were living freely in our culture. I wanted what they had and they invited me into it– because of their intentionality and the grace of God I accepted the invitation. I have become aware of the deep love the Father has for His children and I hope to love on college students in a way that their lives may also be touched by the invitation to His gaze!
