We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I currently serve as a missionary for Assumption University, a Catholic university in Worcester, Massachusetts. I am excited to help bring students to a deeper relationship with the Lord like they’ve never encountered before!
I grew up Catholic my whole life, but when I reached college, I left the faith. Then one day in college at the University of North Texas (GMG!), I was invited to a FOCUS conference. I saw thousands of college students pursuing a relationship with Jesus. I wanted that same relationship.
I realized how lost I was in college, and the “college experience” wasn’t satisfying. I came back to college with a new desire, to pursue a relationship with Jesus. I reached out to a dear college friend, Morgan, who was starting her journey as a FOCUS missionary. I asked her to guide me to a deeper and personal relationship with Jesus.
As I continued my faith journey in college with Morgan, I realized how important it was for college students to have this relationship with Jesus. I realized how full life was when Jesus is at the center. I knew I couldn’t keep my relationship with Jesus for myself. I remembered how empty I felt when I started college, I could only imagine how other students felt.
“Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire.” -St. Catherine of Siena
This quote has given me so much joy, God has put the desire in my heart to help make Himself known to other college students. Now I have been blessed with the opportunity to help students have a relationship with Jesus and fill their hearts with the love of Christ.
You are setting the world on fire!
Thanks to your generous support, we help set the souls of college students on fire for a relationship with Jesus! You are filling the hearts of students who felt empty like myself.
If you are interested in changing college students’ lives and what FOCUS is doing to help these students, I’d love to share this mission with you!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
