Hi! My name is Juliana, and I’m a FOCUS missionary.

Where I serve

I serve at the FOCUS Headquarters in Denver, Colorado as a Staff Care Specialist. My role is to assist in the hiring of FOCUS missionary staff and create content of mental health resources for our staff and students.

My Story

Throughout high school, my friends and I founded a nonprofit of teens helping at-risk teens discover their potential. This work would open my eyes to the problem of isolation and the need for authentic friendships from a young age. While discovering a deep affection for nonprofits and mission work, Christ gave me the experience of becoming a one-year missionary in the Philippines before I went off to Benedictine College.

In 2021, my FOCUS missionary friends on campus invited me to various events which introduced me to the mission of bringing souls closer to Christ through authentic friendship. That same year, I was given the opportunity to intern for FOCUS’ Staff Care Department at the Headquarters in Colorado. Experiencing vital unity and integrity in a corporate setting would stay with me the coming years.

After many valuable career experiences, I was offered a full-time Staff Care position at the FOCUS Headquarters. With time, I have realized that Christ has given me a deep affection for mission so that I may work as a full-time missionary for missionaries. And for this I am most grateful.
