I am blessed to be serving my first year on mission at the University of Connecticut. I love writing songs, playing catch, and talking about our Blessed Mother. Come find me on campus!

Growing up, I battled constantly with anxiety, stress, loneliness, and perfectionism. Without an example of how to let go, I carried a burden that wasn t mine to hold. In college, a FOCUS missionary invited me to a conference in Indianapolis that sparked my first encounter with Truth – Jesus Christ. How quickly I experienced true freedom when my heart was opened to the only thing that could fill it!

My journey of healing continued when I experienced the depth of real friendship with another FOCUS missionary, Elizabeth. As I began to experience joy like never before, I noticed an ever growing ache for my peers to know this joy too. As I have grown closer to Christ, I am convinced that it is Jesus himself who is the answer to every student s troubles, longings, and brokenness.

My life has been transformed by Jesus Christ, and I want nothing more than to share the Gospel of Healing with college students. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I’ve been constantly amazed by the different souls I’ve encountered on campus.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
