In this ninth year on staff, God is calling me to serve in the office of our Founder, Curtis Martin.

While growing up I had parents who offered everything to the Lord. I looked to them, they looked to God, and through them I learned to look to God too.  By this example, I saw the sincere freedom offered through a Christ-centered life. During my undergrad years at the University of Texas at Austin my heart was moved again and again by the virtuous friends that God placed in my life. These friends shared with me their very selves, revealing a personal call to holiness that cut me to the core. It is through the natural love of family and friends that I am capable of understanding the supernatural love of Christ.  The Church, the sacraments, the Bible; my experience of each of these was augmented by personal, deep, and generous human relationships. I am convicted that people are the instruments by which God has chosen to bring humanity to His Church, and ultimately, to Himself.

While on Earth, Jesus sought out authentic relationships, inviting those around Him to abundant life and continuous transformation. Out of love for Him and His Church, I seek to follow Jesus’ example. To do so, I have joined FOCUS as a full-time missionary. Through FOCUS, I will lead Bible Studies, carry out one-on-one mentorship, help to plan National conferences, and lead mission trips abroad; all for the sake of building authentic, Christ-centered friendships. It is my hope that these friendships will reveal the all-encompassing power of the Father’s love and the sheer goodness of His plan.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners. In doing so, I will be free to give my undivided self to the Church. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.
