I have been given the privilege of serving at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico this year! I am so excited to serve the Lord and to encounter students on this incredible adventure alongside my teammates: Luis, Cecilia, and Tynan.

My experiences with FOCUS missionaries throughout my time in college showed me the ways in which God works through each person with their unique gifts and talents to show himself to others. I saw God work through FOCUS missionaries as they reached out to students and through those students as they reached out to other students. I witnessed God’s providence at work as he used the unique joys and sufferings of each individual to positively influence others and bring students closer to himself. FOCUS creates environments on college campuses where these kinds of friendships are intentionally fostered and encouraged. The friendships I made and witnessed in my experiences with FOCUS inspired me to discern God’s unique call to mission in my life, and to use the gifts and talents he has given me to be a full-time missionary.

An important element of this mission is that no one can do it alone. God desires to draw us to Himself and delights in sharing with us His task of winning souls for the Kingdom. Even without stepping foot on campus, you have a role to play in this great adventure!
