I am currently serving as Chief of Staff on the South Area Regional Team. I help support more than 250 missionaries on 50+ campuses as they reach out to college students helping them to find purpose and meaning in their life, ultimately preparing them for life-long Catholic mission. After serving for 9 years on campus I am excited to use my experience to help evangelization efforts on an even bigger scale.

I encountered the personal love Christ has for me through specific people God placed in my life. These women began spending one-on-one time with me, showing me the joy of living as an authentic Catholic. Prior to meeting these women, I had recognized an emptiness and longing in my heart. It wasn’t until I met them that I realized Jesus was the answer to this longing. Soon I began sharing what I had been given with the people that God put in my life. Recognizing that there are many others out there who, like me, are trying to fill an emptiness and longing in their heart, I felt the Lord asking me to serve as a full-time missionary with FOCUS right out of college.

Joe and I met, dated, were engaged, and married all while serving with FOCUS. We both had prior experience on various campuses but most recently spent the past 7 years as a missionary family at the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!). Our years on campus have had a profound impact on not only many students’ lives (who will spread that impact for the rest of their lives), but on our own lives as well. We have been blessed with two miracles- Xavier and Cora.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to make this mission possible. I’ve been blessed with amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
