We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hello! My name’s Kelley and I serve at Louisiana State University. Geaux Tigers!
I am in my 7th year with FOCUS and have served at LSU my entire time! I currently serve as the Associate Team Director, meaning I help oversee and manage our team of 7 missionaries. I also work specifically with the athletes to try and bring the Gospel to every team in the athletic department!
As a missionary, my greatest desire is to introduce students to the abundant life offered to them thru a relationship with Jesus. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus’ own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I’ve been constantly amazed by the different souls I’ve encountered on campus.I would love for you to be apart of this mission!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

Bible study is the core of what we do. Teaching students how to pray and encounter Jesus in the Scriptures in the context of a group of authentic friends who make them feel seen, known and loved. I invited my Bible study to my house to make ornaments during Christmas! Oh, and every good Bible study always includes snacks! 🙂

I attend a lot of LSU sporting events to support the students I walk with! I love this part of my job because I am able to help the athletes see the similarities of being a successful athlete and a holy Christian!

Spring Break 2026– I directed a trip to Lima, Peru where we served the spiritually and physically poor. Our Mission Trips have the mission of knowing Christ and making Him known. We center our days around Daily Mass, Holy Hour and serving the poor. It is not uncommon for students to leave exclaiming, “That was the best week of my life!”

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
