Where I serve

God has called me to serve college students with FOCUS as the Team Director at The University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. Rock Chalk! I would love to share my story with you about how Jesus captivated me and truly changed my life in college!

My Story

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ and allow them to encounter His deep and personal love for them. I turned to all the things the world says will make you happy and I was left empty and unfulfilled. As I went off to college at the University of Maryland, I was on the cusp of my faith. I did not know if I truly wanted to or even knew how to live a life centered on Christ. Through FOCUS Bible study & discipleship, my life completely changed. The FOCUS missionaries at UMD loved me and constantly encouraged me to stay close to Christ and His Church. The missionaries built me up and equipped me to share the joy of true freedom in Christ with others.

My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. It is through this little way of evangelization that I hope to find the best method of reaching the world. I have seen the fruits of this method modeled by Jesus at UMD and JMU and am so blessed to continue at The University of Kansas.

I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
