We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
My name is Kobe and I’m a FOCUS missionary!
REJOICE ALWAYS (1 Thessalonians 5:16)
God has called me to a 4th year serving college students at the University of Iowa in Iowa City! He has called me into deeper leadership as I enter into my 2nd year as Team Director. What’s new? On May 18, 2024, I married my beautiful wife, Grace, and she will be life teammate and missionary teammate as well! Pray for Grace, Nathan, Alayna, Caitlin, Evan, and myself as we go on mission this year at Iowa! Reach out to me at (712) 790-2564 if you ever want to hear my story 🙂
Both of us have been serving full-time with FOCUS for the past three years. As undergraduate students we both encountered missionaries that were instrumental in the renewal of our faith. Through their intentional investment in us, we learned how to authentically pray and encounter the Lord in personal relationship.
Throughout our dating relationship and now into marriage, the greatest desire of our hearts is to share the joy and freedom we have found in living a life for Jesus Christ and His Church. We are honored to be able to go onto campus and encounter students where they are, as we were encountered during our time in college. We know the Lord will work through our marriage and to transform lives, as He has already done miracles in our hearts!
God never gave up on us. He will never give up on you either.
When I said yes to the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you. Let s make Heaven JAM-PACKED!
Feel free to call me at 712-790-2564 or email me at [email protected].
“God created us without us: but he did not will to save us without us.”
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
