We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
– Romans 12:2
I have the pleasure to serve at Baylor University for my second year this upcoming fall! It truly was a blessing to serve there my first year on staff with our team of 5 and alongside the campus ministry staff at St. Peter’s Catholic Center. Baylor has a beautiful community where there is a focus (no pun intended) on its four pillars: liturgy, formation, fellowship, and service. Our role as missionaries is to encourage growth in each of these areas with students that are involved with the ministry as well as those on the fringes!
I’m originally from Montana, but graduated from Auburn University in the Professional Flight Program in 2022, and was involved with AU Catholic throughout my time there! I got involved with FOCUS Bible Studies early on my Freshman year and had my reversion at SEEK 2019 in Indianapolis. Eventually, aided by formation in discipleship and continued work in student campus ministry, this led to me interviewing and accepting a job with FOCUS! It played a significant role in my growth there as a student and cultivated in me a strong conviction of sharing the good news with students on our college campuses.
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
