We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I serve at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville as both a student, graduate teaching assistant, and part-time missionary for now until I graduate in December 2024, where I will be relocated to a new campus. I’m excited to continue what has been started in Knoxville, and begin something new elsewhere!
Hello! My name is Kyle Fagin and I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I was raised in a Catholic home and really grew in my faith gradually over time. Out of high school, I really wanted to be involved in a community of faith where I would be known and welcome, and found that community at VolCatholic, the Catholic campus ministry at UTK, as well as with FOCUS missionaries serving there who spent years loving me and helping me become the man I want to become. I finished my bachelor’s in mechanical engineering in 2023 and stayed in Knoxville following graduation to pursue my master’s degree. I have a strong desire to build Christ’s church, and I want to be present to those in need in the way that the ones who came before me in Knoxville provided the same for me. I’m excited and so blessed to be able to have that opportunity, and am thankful for all the blessings that have come!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
