My Story

I was born and raised Catholic, in Lincoln, Nebraska. I attended Catholic school through high school. I then went on to study architecture at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Go Big Red! (Home of the World Record for attendance at a women’s sporting event!)

When I got to college it was amidst the Covid-19 epidemic shutdown, and I spent the first year of college in the isolation of my bedroom in my parent’s house. This made my faith a very difficult task, I began to feel alone and poured everything into my college study, it became my whole identity. Through the next few years I got increasingly more involve at our Newman Center and started to develop a true relationship with God.

It was through the accompaniment of various friends at the Newman Center that I was truly able to get to a place where I was able to understand God’s love for me. I understood my identity as a beloved son of God! I want all students to understand and feel that too. I first heard God calling me to mission at SEEK23, I then spent the next summer as a Totus Tuus missionary.

Working as a missionary for the summer opened the door to God’s call for me after graduation to missionary life yet again, this time as a FOCUS missionary. Through much prayer and discernment I said yes to Jesus and His call to fulfill His Great Commission!
