We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
The Lord has invited me to serve as a missionary at University of Virginia! I am so excited to see what the Lord has in store at UVA… Go Hoos!!
Growing up, I was raised Catholic and my faith has always been an important part of my life, but it wasn’t until college that I understood what it meant to be in deep relationship with Jesus each and every day. Through involvement with FOCUS as a student at Texas A&M and the accompaniment of incredible women there, I began to have a life of deeper prayer and more frequent sacraments. In my time at Texas A&M, I came to understand the difference between knowing about Jesus, and knowing Him personally. Living a life of daily prayer has absolutely transformed my life and allowed for God to not only be an important part of my life, but to be at the center of my life.
It was my greatest joy in my time in college to come to know Christ more and to walk with others in their journey to know Him more as well. It took a friend willing to invest in me to show me how abundant and full life with Christ is, and I am so excited to continue inviting others into this. In John 15, Jesus tells us to abide Him, then states, “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete” (John 15:11). The joy that comes from walking with Christ and abiding in Him is a joy that has transformed my life and I am so excited to watch God transform others in this way.
In answering God’s call to join FOCUS, I also accepted the call to rely financially and spiritually on mission partners for support. My mission on campus at University of Virginia would not be possible without your generosity and support. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to invite you into mission with me and to share this blessing with you! Together, the Lord will work through us to encounter so many students. If you have an interest in joining my mission, I’d be honored to set up an appointment and talk to you more about it!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
