We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“A story is a way to say something that can’t be said any other way, and it takes every word in the story to say what the meaning is.” -Flannery O’Connor
I serve our donors and philanthropy team as a copywriter and editor.
Since I can remember, I always loved to tell stories through music and writing. Whether it was through childhood games, art songs, or writing for an internship later in college, I sought opportunities to voice meaningful stories. It took me a long time to realize that my identity itself is rooted in a story — one that supersedes time and gives ultimate meaning to my life.
That story is the Gospel. Watching others suffer around me and questioning the meaning of life my senior year of high school brought me face to face with a real question: Was Jesus a liar, a lunatic, or the Son of God? I came to encounter Him as a Person through my FOCUS Bible study leader in college and in the Eucharist and confession. In receiving His mercy, I realized in my mind and heart that He truly is God, my savior — and that I am made to give and receive His love. It brought me such joy to learn and share His love story for us — Salvation History — to my friends at school through Bible study and discipleship.
After graduating with degrees in music and journalism at the University of Maryland, I became a full-time missionary with FOCUS to serve the students at the University of Virginia for two years and then at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for two years.
At the Denver Headquarters, I served in the Beauty Initiative (in teaching our staff how to evangelize through authentic beauty) and served our donors as a Donor Relations Specialist. Now I’m so grateful to serve our donors and philanthropy team as a copywriter and editor.
It would be an honor to serve on this mission together! Please consider giving financially and supporting prayerfully to the mission.
Thank you so much, and God bless you!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
