We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I serve at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln! Go Huskers!
I am wholly committed to the mission of FOCUS because I know first-hand the power of evangelization. I grew up Catholic, had a great Catholic education, and never got into much trouble.
Despite this good start, when I got to college, I didn’t know anything about Scripture, I didn’t know how to really pray (if I was honest with myself), and I thought “evangelization” meant having two white shirt and black tie wearing men knock on your door with a Bible in their hands.
Then I met a FOCUS missionary who showed me the treasure I had in Jesus and His Catholic Church. For the first time, I saw the big picture of my faith and it brought me to incredible intimacy with Christ in my prayer life. I was taught how to share my faith in a way that wasn’t judgmental or condescending, but still without wavering from the fact that Jesus is “the way and the truth and the life” and that He founded one Church.
To fulfill Christ’s Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and bring the Gospel to students who are hungering for Truth, I invite you to partner with me in this vital work by ADOPTING ME AS YOUR MISSIONARY.
By allocating a portion of your monthly tithe to my missionary work with FOCUS, you can participate in the most vital Catholic outreach in the United States. 100% of your tax-deductible gift supports my full-time missionary work at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Your financial support will allow me to serve as a Catholic missionary where you wish one would have been for you and/or the ones you loved during the college years.
I look forward to answering your questions. I can be reached by phone at (402) 217-2097 or by e-mail at [email protected]
May Jesus Christ be praised!
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
