We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I have been called to serve at New Mexico State University!
I grew up in a Catholic environment and I am the eldest of two. Growing up in Seattle, Washington I was faced with a lot of different hardships with my faith. Through it all, I found myself growing closer to God and understanding the mercy He has.
Starting college, I knew that I was in for a very difficult journey. I am a first generation student of immigrant parents. I was measuring my success in life with the amount of money I would be making getting out of college. I spent a lot of time in school studying that I lost myself in it. Starting my senior year of college, I was lonely and stressed. I had not found a job with the riches promised to me my freshman year, and I had not been very invested in a community. I found out that year that there was a Newman center on my campus, so I decided to check it out. I was then roped in for the rest of the school year. I started going to adoration and daily mass, seeking to fill the hunger I had of God.
Thanks to this deeper love for God. I was able to participate in retreats and deeper formational works with my Newman center at the University of Washington. Going into bible studies and discipleship helped me grow my faith and have a deeper love for God. As I was learning through Bible studies and personal meetings with FOCUS missionaries, I started to help others learn as well. I found myself called constantly by the people in my life asking for help in deepening their relationship with the Lord. This call was made to me very clear, and thus I sought out to be a FOCUS missionary!
College students are falling away from the faith constantly and finding themselves lost and alone. Without knowing their part in the greater story, they are in need to be formed and guided. They need guidance in understanding what Gods unconditional love is, and how we all have it. We all have the call to work for God. What a person gives depends on them and where they are called. Some are called to give by going and others go by giving.
When agreeing to work with FOCUS, I put my faith on supporters to help me carry out the mission I am called to do. With you as a mission partner, together we can guide lives back to Christ and help heal the world. If you are interested in joining my mission team, contact me with the best way to get in touch with you in order to set up a meeting! Thank you for your support, and your gifts to God.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
