We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I serve on the national leadership team for FOCUS Parish. I am blessed to split my time between being a Regional Director for the East and South parishes, as well as, serving our pastors and priests in the parishes and diocese we work with in putting on retreats and small group accompaniment and training.
Here is my beautiful blessed family. From Left to Right, Angela (my wife) holding Simon, Bernadette, Damien, Regina, Benjamin, Charles, Clara, Gemma and Me.
I am the weakest person I know. But God loves to prove to the world that he is great. 20 years ago I was deeply convicted of living a double life and of being a Luke-warm Christian. I was evangelized by my two best friends who were Protestant and had beautiful relationships with our Lord who invited me to begin reading God’s word with them. After I read the Gospels and was halfway through Acts of the Apostles…the Lord finally hooked me in chapter 18:18. “Paul remained for quite some time, and after saying farewell to the brothers he sailed for Syria…at Cenchreae he had his hair cut because he had taken a vow.” This obscure verse stuck out like a sore thumb…Why did Paul cut his hair? I researched all I could and found that he took a Nazarite vow just like Sampson in the Old Testament. So the cure for my lukewarmness was to imitate Paul and shave my head and take a year long vow to our Lord (No Drinking, No dating, go to confession every time I sinned). During this transformative year my heart was completely changed and I chose to follow Christ no matter what he asked and my life has never been the same. I now get to do what my college friends did for me for others. I invite others to follow Christ as His Disciple and invite them to do the same.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve the Lord. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
