We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Unless the Lord builds the house, in vain do the builders labor” Psalm 127
I serve as a first year missionary at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky! The Lord has long been working in my heart to bring me here, and has given me a burning desire to reach college students, and help them come to know more deeply Jesus Christ, the source of all joy, at a time when the world offers them so many empty promises.
Throughout my time in college, and especially through my interaction with FOCUS Missionaries, the Lord has loved me and taught me how to love others in a world which has so deeply forgotten what true sacrificial love is. In my free time I enjoy reading about history and philosophy, playing tennis, pickleball, disk golf, or volleyball, or just hanging out with friends.
Throughout the history of the church, missionaries were sent into the world to fulfill Christ’s great commission to make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:19) In today’s post-Christian age, the Church’s mission is to re-evangelize the world for Christ. In order to dedicate myself to this work full-time, to be radically available to the people I serve, I rely on the Grace of God and the generosity of others who join the mission with their financial contributions and their prayer.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
