I’m excited to be serving as a first year missionary at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN! Go Buccaneers!

During my time at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, I got to know a FOCUS missionary, and she modeled for me how to have an intimate relationship with Jesus. I learned more about how the Father sees me, and He continued to very intentionally pursue my heart through Bible study, prayer, and the sacraments. The next four years at UNK were truly transformative. I was able to better understand, through getting to know my identity as His daughter, that my worth is not found in my grades, performance, or achievements. I said yes to being a missionary because I want to help introduce other students to Jesus so they might come to understand that too!

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. As St. Mother Teresa once said, “Some give by going, others go by giving. Without both, the mission does not exist.” It’s such a gift that my supporters get to impact the mission work I will be doing on campus through our partnership!
