God has called me to serve college students through my work at FOCUS’ headquarters in our Talent & Leadership Development department. This is my eighth year as a FOCUS missionary – I served as a missionary at George Mason University for 3 years, as a Team Director at the University of Rhode Island for 3 years, and now I am in my second year at our headquarters. In my current role, I serve college students by serving and developing the missionaries and leaders who work with college students around the world – what a tremendous blessing!

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. Growing up, I received a wonderful formation in my faith from my family and friends. I always loved my faith but I often felt like I was missing something but it wasn’t until I was in college that I figured out what that was. During my freshman year at Benedictine College in Atchison, KS, my FOCUS Bible study leader, Jess asked me who Jesus was. I realized that all I had were textbook answers about Jesus but I did not know Him personally. Once I realized that what I had been searching for was a relationship with Jesus, Jess taught me to pray and she challenged me to share my faith with others. My sophomore year I began leading a Bible study of freshman woman and my 3 years leading them and sharing my faith with them taught me so much about Jesus and His Church! I am so humbled to have had the privilege of sharing Him with countless others on college campuses even now that I am out of college myself.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
