We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Holiness consists simply in doing God’s will, and being just what God wants us to be.” -St. Therese of Lisieux
I am serving as Team Director at the Colorado School of Mines with my teammates Greg, Justin and first year, new missionary Abbie!
Growing up, the youngest of five children, in a devout Catholic household, surrounded by beautiful examples of faith within my parents, friends, and family, I was blessed to understand the importance and beauty of Christ and His Church. Although I desired faith, I hid behind walls I had put up because of shame, but by the grace of God, one evening senior year of high school, in prayer at a retreat, He took a sledgehammer to the first of many walls I had built. For the first time, I truly encountered the gaze of Christ; one that captivated my heart. From that moment, I knew within my heart the Father’s love for me, and how He isn’t afraid or ashamed to look at me in my wounds, as I had thought before. After that, through the daily and continual deepening of my love of Christ, He has called me to give my life to mission, in service of sharing with college students the love and mercy that He has shown towards me and SO many others. And that’s why I am here! To be the hands and feet of this mission, to, by the grace and strength of God, help lead souls to Him.
His life-changing, piercing, reckless love and mercy need to be shared. His Sacrifice on the Cross needs to be shared. Christ loves you and gave His life for you; that needs to be shared.
This is our mission: to spread the gospel on college campuses and to reach some of the most spiritually impoverished souls within our society. To go out, to meet and love students where they are at. To walk with them, to lead them, to be witnesses of Christ to them. We as missionaries are just the hands and feet, but those who support us both financially and with prayers, are the heart that keeps the mission going forward. If you are interested in hearing more of my story, the mission, and how you can support me, please feel free to contact me! God bless! 🙂
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
