We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
After serving on campus for five years at University of Nebraska, Georgia College, and University of Miami, I spent 5 years serving the Lord in the Missions department of FOCUS. I was blest enough to help students encounter Christ in the poor and experience the Universal Church through spring break and summer mission trips. Now, I’m embarking on a new adventure: I am a part of FOCUS’ Lifelong Mission Team, and serving as a parish missionary.
When I was in college, I was searching for a way to help others, especially women who have bought into the lies of the culture about what our identity is and what makes us beautiful. Once I saw the beauty of who the Lord has created us to be as His daughters and the awesomeness that He’s given us in His Church, my heart was on fire to share this with my peers and with the world. I’ve grown in an awareness of how important discipleship is, and I truly believe the most effective way to help people know who they are and what they’re made for is through relational ministry and through living the “little way” of evangelization. My hope is to aid the Church in America through living discipleship in the parish.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve the Lord as a missionary. Your support is what makes this mission continue, and you directly affect every student and adult I come in contact with. If you are interested in partnering with me, you become a part of this awesome mission.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
