I get to start my time with FOCUS serving as a missionary at San Diego State University! It’s clear that the Lord has a lot in store for me in San Diego. He will be pursuing my heart just as much as He will be pursuing the hearts of the students there.

Please pray for my team and I as we encounter the students at SDSU and set the campus on fire with the Holy Spirit!

I’m from Boulder Colorado (sko buffs!) and I cannot wait to be on mission in sunny San Diego. As a missionary, I’m eager to show women the deep freedom and transformation that come from a relationship with Jesus Christ and knowing what it means to be unconditionally loved by God the Father. I grew in understanding of these truths in my time at CU Boulder through friendship with the FOCUS missionaries. The women that walked with me there taught me how to live out of these truths and cultivate a prayer life to build my relationship with Jesus.

I was blessed to walk with other women in Greek life at CU Boulder and bring them into relationship with the person of Jesus. I’d love to tell you how God used me to reveal Himself to my sorority little, Avery, as I walked with her through RCIA this year, and sponsored her entrance into the Catholic Church this past Easter. It’s so good to be a godmother! As God used me to transform her life, He used her to further set my heart on fire for mission and make me want to have the best job in the world as a full-time missionary.

In saying “yes” to God’s invitation to pursue Him and others through being a missionary with FOCUS, I willingly made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of partners to help me through this mission. I’m blessed to get to cultivate a team of amazing people to journey with me on mission.
