Hello! My name is Maggie and I’m a first year missionary.

Where I serve

I serve as a first-year missionary at the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Through FOCUS, I have the profound blessing of leading and walking with young women on their faith journey.

My Story

I graduated in May 2024 from Tulane University with a B.S. in Neuroscience, minoring in Psychology.

Growing up in Monroe, Louisiana, I was raised in a Methodist home but never engaged deeply with my faith. Throughout my time at Tulane, God used campus ministries to draw me closer into relationship with Him by placing people in my path to show me His love and mercy through authentic friendship. During my junior year, I wrestled with a strong pull toward the Catholic Church and finally decided to convert in my senior year.

Despite my fears, God provided abundantly through the FOCUS missionaries at Tulane Catholic. FOCUS has given me a community of people who push me to grow in virtue and love of God, even amidst the challenges which accompanied my conversion. Jesus has used FOCUS to enact significant change in my life, and I look forward to the next two years in which I’ll have the opportunity to grow and serve others as a FOCUS Missionary.
