Where I serve

I serve with the Philanthropy Engagement Team.

My Story

It wasn’t until my time at DePauw University that I was shook by God. Through formation from the FOCUS missionaries and attending the SEEK conference, I soon came to realize the Lord was inviting me into something deeper: first and foremost, a personal relationship with Him, but also an invitation to share His goodness with others. This led my wife, Reiley, and I to say yes to serving with FOCUS as missionaries. For 5 years we served at Indiana University of Indianapolis and Purdue University of Indianapolis. In this time we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Mary Rose, who by far attracted the most students! Serving together as a family was a great blessing and a wonderful opportunity to share life our students. “Godfrey Sunday Brunch” was our favorite tradition on campus! Working with students opened our eyes to the great need of Jesus on campus, and also to the great hunger of students wanting more.

After serving on campus, our family moved to Fishers, Indiana, where I am continuing to serve with FOCUS in my current role as a Philanthropy Engagement officer. Every day I get to invite FOCUS supporters to take part in this amazing mission of FOCUS and share the ways Christ is transforming lives on campus. Thanks be to God!
