I work at the national office in Denver.

Although raised as a cradle Catholic, I took my faith for granted.  Still, my faith surrounded me constantly through my parents’ great desire to live virtuous lives, attending catholic school, and going to weekly mass.  After graduating college, I was disoriented on what to do next and how and where I would leave my impact on the world.  Shortly, after I graduated college I was asked to be godparents to my expectant brother/sister-law.  My mom made me aware of my need to receive the sacrament of Confirmation, as I had not yet been confirmed.  Through my lukewarm faith, being jobless, and having a great disorientation of the direction of my life, I was determined to take the sacrament of Confirmation seriously.  I knew that if I wanted to continue with my catholic faith I needed to be much more intentional and knowledgeable in what I believed.  Through the preparation courses for Confirmation, I was asked to read John 6 and that chapter changed my life.  Through the grace of God, my disorientation began to lift and a reorientation towards God began to set in.  Over the next several years, I worked for the Archdiocese of San Antonio and then eventually entered the seminary to begin discernment for the priesthood.  Although I discerned out of the seminary, God kept working and speaking to me in my life and drawing me closer to Him.  In God’s perfect timing, He led me to my beautiful wife, Diana, who pushes me to strive together with her in reaching Heaven.  Diana’s heart radiates a great love for God and you can clearly see God at the center through how she lives her life.  Diana’s great love for God came from her dad and her missionary zeal for spreading the good new, which her dad taught her, came from FOCUS.  Diana worked as a missionary on campus and then also served on the digital outreach team at the national office, where I now work.  Diana’s life encompasses the mission of FOCUS, “to know Christ Jesus and fulfill His Great Commission.”  Diana led me to FOCUS to be a part of this incredible apostolate. This is my 1st year serving with FOCUS and I am honored and humbled by God’s great call.

FOCUS continues to fulfill the Great Commission in calling others into relationship with Jesus Christ.
