We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Going into my second year as a FOCUS missionary, I will be returning to serve at Stony Brook University on Long Island!
I first encountered FOCUS the summer after my freshman year of college. Before then, I had been raised Catholic in an incredible family and community. But when I got to college, I really struggled as I felt isolated and without an identity. That summer, I had the opportunity to spend ten weeks in Estes Park, Colorado on FOCUS Summer Projects. While I was there, I began to learn that my identity was rooted in nothing other than the fact that I am a beloved son of God. Since then, the Lord has been showing me more and more that he loves me at a level that I could never comprehend. It radically changed the way I lived my life.
As my graduation from college approached, I knew that God was calling me to be a FOCUS missionary. I am so excited to go to campus and meet all of the students that God places before me. The Lord has much in store, and I cannot wait to watch it all unfold!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
