We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
My wife and I are serving our sixth year at the University of Dallas! #geauxCrusaders
For so much of my life, I have grasped after my own conception of happiness and tried desperately to lay claim to the empty promises the world offered me. For so long have I struggled with my identity, my worth, and my purpose. I longed for fulfillment and sought after something that would satisfy my hunger. Through my encounter with Jesus Christ and my growth in relationship with Him, these struggles slowly began to fade away, and I found myself filled.
Life is still difficult; there’s no doubt about that. Just because I said “yes” to God doesn’t mean all of my problems magically disappeared. In fact, “yes” to God meant “yes” to bearing my cross. And it is a “yes” that I have to affirm and renew every single day. But when has anything easy ever been worth it? The more difficult the challenges that I am faced with, the more I realize that God has equipped me to tackle my problems and that He is walking alongside me every step of the way.
Giving ourselves to the Lord as missionaries has been one of the biggest difficulties and commitments of our life, and it has also been an immense gift and joy. Every single day, Elizabeth and I are able to encounter the love of God in a radical way in our relationship with Him and with one another. We are also able to lead others to the same joy, love, and freedom He has offered us. God has given us everything, and we desire nothing more than to give everything back to Him.
When we answered the call to join FOCUS, we made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help us through this mission. We’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with us as we serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with us, please let us know of the best way to reach you, and we will schedule an appointment. We are honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
