Where I serve

God has called me to serve college students at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln! Go Big Red!! I could not be more excited for this next year on mission and to lead students closer to Christ!

My Story

My life was radically transformed by Jesus when I was a student at the University of Kansas. Before I came to know Christ, I was seeking happiness in all the wrong places. This left me feeling empty and isolated. The summer between my senior year of college and graduate school, I had an incredibly transformative experience on a FOCUS mission trip. I received a glimpse of the abundant life Jesus desired for me, and knew that I needed to fully surrender my life to him in order to be truly fulfilled.

While at KU, I was incredibly blessed to meet a FOCUS missionary who pursued authentic friendship with me and walked with me on my faith journey. As I became friends with the missionaries on my campus, I couldn’t help but notice how differently they were living compared to most of the world. I was attracted to their joy and wanted to imitate them. This led me to daily prayer and frequenting the sacraments. My life very quickly changed for the better as I fell more deeply in love with Jesus. In grad school, I grew a deep desire to share the Gospel with others. I could not be more excited to be a full-time missionary and walk with others as they grow closer to Christ!!
