God has called me to move to the great state of Oklahoma to serve college students at the University of Tulsa! I’m so thrilled to share the beauty of the Catholic faith with the students on campus!!

Throughout my life, the Lord has been patiently pursuing me. I was blessed to grow up in a loving, Catholic household and had many opportunities to grow in my faith, especially at my home parish in Fort Walton Beach, FL. From a young age, He put the desire to become a doctor on my heart, so that I could physically serve His people. He sent me to the University of Alabama-Birmingham (Go Blazers!) to get the education I needed to excel in medical school, but along the way, I gained something so much greater than just a good education.

I discovered the true beauty of the Catholic faith and the importance of having Christ at the center of my life. Through the gift of the community in Birmingham, I was able to see and experience the reality of the Gospel message and how this Truth transforms our hearts. As my senior year progressed, I was thrown some challenges that caused a struggle for stability. After graduation, I was in the process of applying to medical school and I went on a mission trip with FOCUS to Argentina. There, I truly allowed my heart to be open to hear the Lord’s will and trust in His plan for my life. In this time of prayer, the Lord whispered something that has stirred in my heart for a while; the possibility of becoming a FOCUS missionary.

Before this trip, I was full of anxiety and fear of the future. I struggled with trust in the Lord’s goodness amidst my difficulties. Throughout the trip, I opened my heart to be filled with His love and goodness. The Lord proved to me that He is in full control and all I need to do is trust in His abundant mercy. I realized the immense peace that came with the idea of becoming a FOCUS missionary and knew this was His plan for me.

I am so excited to share the Truth, Goodness, and Beauty of the Catholic faith with the women of Tulsa!
