Where I serve

God has called me back to the the great state of Oklahoma to serve at the University of Tulsa for year two! I’m so thrilled to return to campus with my new teammates to continue sharing the Gospel at the University of Tulsa!

My Story

Throughout my life, the Lord has been patiently pursuing me. I was blessed to grow up in a loving, Catholic household and had many opportunities to grow in my faith. From a young age, He put the desire to become a doctor on my heart, so that I could physically serve His people. He sent me to the University of Alabama-Birmingham (Go Blazers!) to get the education I needed to excel in medical school, but along the way, I gained something so much greater than just a good education.

I discovered the true beauty of the Catholic faith and the importance of having Christ at the center of my life. Through the gift of the community in Birmingham, I was able to see and experience the reality of the Gospel message and how this Truth transforms our hearts. As my senior year progressed, I got into a serious car accident that was very unexpected and left me unsure about my next steps after graduation. I was in the process of applying to medical school and I went on a medical mission trip with FOCUS to Argentina. There, I truly allowed my heart to be open to hear the Lord’s will and trust in His plan for my life. In this time of prayer, the Lord whispered something that has stirred in my heart for a while; the possibility of becoming a FOCUS missionary. I realized the immense peace that came with the idea of becoming a FOCUS missionary and knew this was His plan for me.

I am so excited to continue to share the Truth, Goodness, and Beauty of the Catholic faith with the women of Tulsa!
