We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I am a second-year missionary serving at Northern State University in the great city of Aberdeen, South Dakota! Go Wolves!
I grew up in a large Catholic family and always had some understanding of God and the importance of faith. As a little kid, I was curious and fascinated by different parts of the faith but this fascination and excitement decreased as I grew older. I would still perform the basic needs of being Catholic but I never took the initiative to go deeper and make it my own. Instead, I took the initiative to be an athlete and primarily a football player. During my high school days and my freshman year at Carroll College, I placed my identity into the sport. I believed I was more of a football player than I was a man of faith. It wasn’t until my freshman year of college that I began to question what I should be doing and what more I could do with my life than just playing ball. Through the influence of retreats, friends, and FOCUS, I began to dig a little deeper into my faith and really explore what I could find. I began to take it more seriously and really own my faith and a real relationship with God. During these years, I was invited to go on some mission trips and engage in service which I absolutely loved. They were genuinely some of the best days of my life and I felt a draw to serve and help others. This experience combined with my time in college made me realize that college students need help and need to see the goodness of the Lord in their lives. I am on a mission to bring the Love of Christ and the Joy of the Gospel to students and help them realize how great this life can really be. I want everyone to experience what the joys of living in a relationship with God can be.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
