We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
What’s up y’all!
My name is Nathan Seiler, and I am a FOCUS missionary.
University of Iowa
Not too long ago….
I was a student at Indiana University, and I was lost. I was lonely. I was in despair.
And deep down, I wasn’t sure who I was or what I was living for.
Then, by the grace of God, I encountered the love of Jesus Christ in a powerful way through FOCUS missionaries. They sought me out, invited me into a life-giving community on campus, and invested deeply in me.
Growing up Catholic, I knew the beauty of the faith, but I didn’t know the practicals like what authentic friendship looked like or how to pray until I met the missionaries at IU.
This is why I became a FOCUS missionary – to help Jesus find the lost and bring them home.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and following Him not only leads to the fullness of life but also the promise of eternal life. That’s WILD and flippin AWESOME!
Knowing this, I’m fully convicted that this isn’t just an important mission, this is the most important mission on the face of the planet.
Turn on the news… look at the world… divorces are on the rise. suicides are on the rise. depression is on the rise. This is a world in need of hope. In need of love.
There is no place where this is more prominent than on college campuses, no place in more need for the joy of the Gospel and the love of Jesus Christ message than college campuses, and that’s exactly where I’m going. To the University of Iowa to help Jesus save souls and to save lives.
I can’t do this alone though. I need your help. I want to invite you to go on mission with me and with FOCUS. Please consider supporting me both financially and spiritually – through a monthly donation and prayers for this mission.
Together, let’s change the world.
God bless you all!!!!
Everything.
Your gift means everything. Every financial gift allows me to be radically free to serve students and every prayer will lead to greater fruitfulness of this mission on campus.
Know how grateful and how humbled and how pumped I am to go on mission with you.
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
