We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
My name is Nathan, and I am serving in my first year as a FOCUS missionary. Thank you for visiting my page and learning how you can help me in Christ’s Great Commission (Mt 28:18-20).
I have been called to serve the students of Texas A&M University and particularly students involved in fraternities and men’s organizations. Gig ’em!
I encountered Jesus Christ during college at The University of Alabama.
I was raised Catholic, but I did not know what my relationship with God meant. I had never tried to understand the historical depths of the Christian Faith nor God’s immeasurable love for me that I had heard so often.
That changed when someone invited me to a FOCUS bible study specifically for fraternity men.
I found authentic friendship among us as we shared fellowship and learned about God’s Word.
The reality of God’s incarnation in the person of Jesus Christ deeply struck me and slowly began penetrating my heart as I continued seeking Him. He says in John 17:24…
After accepting an invitation to put God at the center of my life, I turned away from the life I had been living and began practicing the Faith and inviting others to follow Him.
Since then I have committed my life to sharing the love and mercy of Jesus Christ with as many people as I can.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. If you are interested in how you can join me in Christ’s mission through FOCUS to change the lives of college students, please feel free to contact me and I would love to set up a meeting with you. Thank you and God bless you.
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and decay destroy, and thieves break in and steal. But store up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor decay destroys, nor thieves break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.” – Matthew 6:19-21
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
