We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“O Lord, thou hast searched me and known me! Thou knowest when I sit down and when I rise up; thou discernest my thoughts from afar. ”
Psalm 139:1-2
I am excited to serve the students at Hope College in Holland Michigan!
As a missionary I will be sharing the love of Christ in the Eucharist to students.
Growing up, my parents introduced the faith to my siblings and I through hard work and filial love, cherishing us as a gift from God. It wasn’t until college, however, that I chose to accept Christ into my life; it was at Hope College that I saw Jesus’ immense love for me in the Eucharist. Christ’s relentless pursuit for me revealed his longing thirst for not only my love, but the love of other souls. Thus, he led me to the apostolate of FOCUS, where my prayer is to meet that salvific thirst.
It was through the grace of two souls –Andrew Levering and Fr. Nick Monco– at Hope College who brought me to this blessed sacrament and revealed the faith to me. Through their authentic friendship and continual love, I have been inspired to commit my life to missionary work.
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
