We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hey! I’m Nick, this is my wife Maggie, our children, Lily, Rose, & Damian and I’m your FOCUS Missionary.
Do you think the world needs great, Catholic missionaries?
(I think so too!)
Good missionaries are dime a dozen, but what does it take to make a missionary great? Formation, conviction, and responsibility.
You and I can teach missionaries about more than fundraising. You and I can teach them how to bring Christ into every aspect of their work. Including how their mission gets funded.
I wanted God to work for me, I didn’t want to work for God. As I was graduating from Franciscan University with a bachelor’s degree in Theology, I surveyed the landscape for how I could put my theology degree to use. It took then FOCUS Team Director, Luke Oestmann to guide me properly. He said “Nick, my work isn’t about me, it’s about Christ. Your degree in Theology is not about you.” That’s when I came to terms with my pride, and knew that I had to serve Christ first. I applied to become a missionary. I’m 9 Years in and I am helping each and every missionary get on campus by teaching them how to fundraise for their ministry.
More college students are learning how to pray dynamically, and how to be effective leaders in the Church today because you and me! If this is the sort of impact you’d like to see continue in the Church, I invite you to join my monthly support team and help me to continue working first for Christ and His Church.
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
