We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I serve as the Sr. MD Events Specialist for SEEK, and one of my greatest joys is creating unforgettable experiences for our benefactors. I have the privilege of walking alongside our supporters, fostering an environment where they feel not only welcomed and valued but also deeply connected to the mission.
As a missionary, my greatest desire is to help others experience the profound love Christ offers. In college, I was caught up in the “typical” college lifestyle, chasing the things of the world that promised happiness but left me empty. I reached a point where I realized I was just living for the weekend, and I thought, “There has to be more than this.”
During this time, I was introduced to FOCUS missionaries, and through genuine friendship, they helped me see my worth and dignity in a way I never had before. I realized that I had been trying to fill the void in my heart with things that could never truly satisfy. But through prayer, the sacraments, and a supportive community, I came to know that only the Father’s unconditional love could heal my wounds and fill that emptiness.
It was through letting Christ into my brokenness that I finally experienced the joy and freedom I had been longing for. He gave me a purpose far greater than anything I had ever known—He gave me Himself.
After experiencing such healing and transformation, I felt compelled to share Him with others. I said “yes” to FOCUS 14 years ago because I want others to know the love and freedom that Christ offers, to break free from the lies of the world, and ask the deeper question, “What was I made for?” I want to witness to the joy and fulfillment that come from living a life fully rooted in Christ.
