As mentioned above, I serve at California State University Fullerton in Orange County, California. Since we do not have a Newman center here, we operate primarily on the campus grounds and through the nearby affiliate parish, St. Juliana Falconieri. However, our main form of reaching the 40,000 students on campus is through the collaboration with Titan Catholic, Cal State Fullerton’s student run Catholic club.

California is a place of great distraction and materialism, so please pray for myself and the students, that I may show that the love of God is the only thing that truly satisfies.

Graduating from Montana State University with a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering, which did not have FOCUS, I never would have expected to become a missionary. God had other plans. He called me on the Feast Day of the Conversion of St. Paul, my confirmation saint, and completely flipped my life around. After experiencing a lot of hardships in college, I am so blessed to give back and lead young adults to, or back to Christ. I have so much confidence that this is where God desires me to be and my life has been more joyful than I could have imagined. All it took was a small “yes”. All glory to God.

The college campus is a new and exciting environment, but is also an environment filled with a lot of darkness. From increasing depression and anxiety rates as well as a lack of good community, my goal as a missionary is to give students hope and relationship. With the light of Christ and good friendships to pursue a life of virtue and joy, these young adults can become the next great saints who will surely help our society and our future for the better.
