Where I serve

The Lord has called me to serve as the Team Director at the University of Illinois Chicago for my fourth year as a campus missionary! I’ve spent the entirety of my time as a missionary thus far at UIC and have absolutely fallen in love with the mission field of Chicago. I’m honored to have a front-row seat to the transformation of the city and to invest in young people, the future of our Church.

My Story

I have absolutely fallen in love with the person of Jesus. It was during my time as a student at the University of Iowa that I realized the difference between loving Jesus and being in love with Him. His Love has totally transformed my life in ways I never thought imaginable. He created me from nothing, chose me even before my parents knew me, and calls me His daughter and His bride. Choosing to love Him back is a daily choice that requires real sacrifice but is so worth the transformation of my heart. I am so much more myself when I live for other people. It’s when I sacrifice my own preferences and ego that I become more fully alive. He has shown me over and over again that life without Him is incomparable to the abundance of life He offers!

I want nothing more than to share this abundant life with others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. As a missionary, my greatest desire is for all people to know the Truth, Beauty, and Goodness of the Catholic Church. I thank Jesus every day with this life He’s given me!
