We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“We Christians are called upon to announce, in our own time, to this world to which we belong and in which we live, the message — old and at the same time new — of the Gospel”
– St. Josemaría Escríva

Looking back on my time at Harvard, I can see clearly how Christ worked through my teammates, friends, and mentors to bring me closer to Him and His church until, almost imperceptibly, my faith became my highest priority. Even after giving more of my time to God and His church every week, I found myself more successful in my other goals in life. I was surprised at first that having “less” time for my worldly obligations would lead to better outcomes, but it did! I was attending to my studies with more excellence, relating to my teammates and coaches with more charity and understanding, and forming more fulfilling and joyful friendships with others on campus.
In my sophomore fall, one of my water polo teammates invited me to join a bible study where my faith flourished and I formed the deepest friendships I made during college. The FOCUS missionary I met in that study helped me begin a consistent prayer life, return to regular sacraments, and develop a personal relationship with our Lord. My greatest desire now is to continue growing in my faith and help young people experience profound faith that brings them peace, clarity, and direction.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me carry out this mission. Through your generosity, I am able to help young men and woman find the Goodness, Truth, and Beauty in their faith. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. It would be a great honor to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
