National Summer Projects Team in Lincoln, Nebraska
After a year on the campus of Colorado School of Mines as a campus missionary, the Lord is now calling me to work at the Denver Support Center, also known as FOCUS headquarters! It is located in Genesee Park, just 20 miles from Denver but I moved back to Lincoln, Nebraska to do my work remotely. My job title is Summer Projects Specialist so you can find me helping out with a lot of the administration work for Summer Projects, our formative, summer program for college students. Find out more about Summer Projects here! I love being able to do more of the behind-the-scenes work that enables the on-campus missionaries to reach souls for Christ, especially for the program that was the main reason I started to put Jesus first in my life!
As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. Jesus taught us how to invest deeply in a few by showing us how He walked with His disciples during their time together and meeting them where they were at. I strive to do the same with the women I encounter. I long to show them the love, mercy, and admiration the Lord has for them. He has more than the world could ever come close to offering any one of us. Let’s set the world on fire!
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
