I am currently in my first year serving as a missionary at Lindenwood University. Lindenwood is a school in Saint Charles Missouri and has a student body of around 7000 students. Go Lions!

In the spring semester of my freshman year, I experienced a profound reversion to the faith, marking a significant turning point in my life’s journey. As the world grappled with the challenges posed by the Covid pandemic, I found myself abruptly sent home from campus, facing days devoid of purpose and direction. It was an unfamiliar and disorienting period, casting a shadow of darkness over my spirit. However, it was precisely within that darkness that God revealed Himself and called me to a life lived for Him.

In the ensuing years, I wholeheartedly embraced this calling, actively participating in Bible study and engaging in the rosary with the Newman Center at Gustavus, my beloved school. Though my commitment to living for God deepened during this time, it wasn’t until the end of my Junior year that I was introduced to FOCUS through the Minnesota State Mankato Newman Center. It was there that I embarked on a journey of growth, joining Bible study groups and engaging in discipleship under the guidance of a missionary. Through these experiences, God expedited my spiritual development and nurtured my leadership skills.

Towards the latter part of my senior year, I began applying the valuable insights and lessons learned at MSU to my own Gustavus community. It was awe-inspiring to witness how God could utilize my willingness and obedience to transform a small community into a thriving and vibrant one. Personally, I experienced profound personal growth during my college years through the influence of FOCUS, and now, my heartfelt desire is to extend that transformative impact to others.

With great passion and dedication, I aspire to foster spiritual growth and guide others on their own faith journeys. The lessons I have learned, the wisdom I have gained, and the love I have received from God compel me to share the transformative power of faith with those who seek it. Together, let us embark on a shared path of discovery, igniting the flame of faith, and nurturing a community of spiritual growth and personal development.
