We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” – John 8:31-32
I’m headed back to Michigan Tech for my second year on mission! It’s a joy to share life with college students in the Upper Peninsula.
Meet my team for the 2024-25 school year! That’s me, Caleb, Zach, Gabrielle, Anna, and Kam!
For a long time, I couldn’t shake the thought that “life must be meant for more than this.” I was lonely, restless, and frustrated. In the midst of my pain, God spoke through the darkness and I encountered His Merciful Love. I discovered that my Catholic faith was not only true, but good and beautiful.
In college, God gave me the gift of many vibrant friendships rooted in the Gospel. While working in my university’s Campus Ministry throughout undergrad and grad school, I fell in love with college ministry. God set my heart on fire for the truth and mercy of the Gospel. I saw that my classmates were overwhelmed by isolation, conflicting and destructive worldviews, and an absence of joy in daily life. So many young adults are just “surviving” when Jesus said He came so that we could have life, and have it “more abundantly” (Jn. 10:10).
After encountering FOCUS through SEEK conferences, missionaries, and a life-changing pilgrimage to Poland, now God is calling me “to equip the holy ones for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ” (Eph. 4:12) and invite college students into a joyful, abundant life with Jesus Christ!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I am continually so blessed by the people who journey with me on mission. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I would be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
