We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Many, many people hereabouts are not becoming Christians for one reason only: there is nobody to make them Christians.” – St. Francis Xavier
The Lord has sent me to serve as a campus missionary at the University of Maine in Orono, Maine! I am thrilled that He is sending me to spread His love surrounded by the beauty of His creation.

I attended Northern Illinois University studying Elementary Education, with plans to be a 4th grade teacher after graduation. I dreamt of teaching somewhere adventurous and making an impact in young people’s lives.
During college I became involved with the amazing Newman Center and missionaries at NIU. It was there, through the sacraments and the witness of faithful priests, friends, and missionaries, that I began to know Jesus in a more intimate way. I learned that I am His beloved daughter, and that He desires to have a personal relationship with me!

My senior year, I felt a tugging on my heart to share with others the Good News of Jesus Christ and the beauty of the Catholic faith as a full time missionary. With the encouragement of the missionaries at NIU I applied and accepted a position as a FOCUS missionary. This is one way that Jesus has fulfilled my desire to make an impact in young people’s lives – and to go somewhere adventurous!
Some give by going, others go by giving.
When I answered God’s call to become a FOCUS missionary, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of others to help me through this mission.
Mission partners are truly partners in the mission. It is necessary to have both those who go and those who give so that together we can “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” – Matthew 28:19.
If you are interested in becoming a partner in the mission, please reach out – I’d be honored to share this mission with you!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
