Where I serve

God has called me to serve FOCUS through our Philanthropy Engagement Department. I have a pretty cool story about how Jesus has changed my life, I would LOVE to tell you all about it!

My Story

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few.

As a daughter of Christ, my greatest desire is to walk alongside my brothers and sisters so that we may all reach Heaven one day. I wish to spread love, just as God intended and just as Jesus models for us. Through the crucifix, we see the most sacred sacrifice of Jesus Christ. John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life. Eternal life, once again, is the goal and with that, I say let s start living eternally for the Father now!

After two years on campus, I am beyond blessed to stay in the beautiful state of California supporting FOCUS in a greater capacity! These past years I have had the honor of walking with these students through fun times, hard times, becoming commissioned disciples, entering the sacrament of marriage, and even accepting a role as FOCUS missionary themselves!

Going into my third year I know a few things to be true: mission is hard but it is a beautiful sacrifice to give this time to the Lord as a free gift of self, California needs to receive the gospel and there is so much goodness that is being done here, and lastly, my heart has only grown and desires to go even deeper in relationship with the sacraments.

I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
